TAIPEI — Blutech Inc. announced today that it has been invited to participate in Cisco’s Kaohsiung AIoT Smart Harbor Initiative.
The memorandum of understanding (MOU) for this collaboration was jointly signed by the Kaohsiung City Government Economic Development Bureau, the Taiwan International Ports Corporation, and Cisco Taiwan, with the ceremony witnessed by distinguished leaders including Vice Minister of Transportation and Communications Kuo-Hsien Lin, Cisco Chief Innovation Officer Guy Diedrich, Chairman of Taiwan International Ports Corporation Hsien-Yi Lee, and Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-Mai.
The Kaohsiung AIoT Smart Harbor Initiative aims to develop and deploy artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies within Kaohsiung Port, enhancing operational efficiency and safety, while reducing energy consumption, electricity costs, and carbon emissions.
The program also seeks to cultivate local talent, foster an AIoT ecosystem, and support enterprises in accelerating digital transformation and expanding into New Southbound markets.
Leveraging its expertise in smart energy management and carbon monitoring systems, Blutech will collaborate with Cisco—renowned for its strengths in network infrastructure and cybersecurity—to help transform Kaohsiung Port into a smart, automated, and secure modern harbor.
